On-prem  ·  45-day free evaluation

Run your free 45-day ECM evaluation — on your own infrastructure.

Deploy ECM as a zipped package, an OVA virtual appliance, or a Docker container — inside your own environment, under your own control. Sign up for an evaluation license and we'll send you a license key and download link.

  • Deploy as zip, OVA (VMware, AWS, Azure), or Docker
  • Full platform — all 50+ connectors and dashboards
  • License key and download link sent after signup
  • Prefer managed cloud instead? See cloud evaluation →
What's included

The full ECM platform, deployed where you control it

Your evaluation license unlocks the same platform as our cloud customers — running entirely inside your own infrastructure.

50+ connectors

SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Zenoss, Dynatrace, Datadog, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, and more — connect as many as you need.

Full correlation engine

Deduplication, suppression, topology-aware grouping, and the visual rule builder — no feature gating.

All four console views

Alert Console, Entity Graph, Historical Trends, and Alert Heatmap, exactly as shown on the product page.

Automation & ITSM sync

Bidirectional ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC integration, plus automation workflows — all included.

📱

Mobile app

The ECM iOS app for on-call engineers, with push alerts and one-tap acknowledgement.

Email support

Installation guide, hardware and software requirements, and email support to get your deployment running.

Choose your format

Three ways to deploy ECM in your environment

Same platform, three packaging options. Pick whichever fits how your team already runs infrastructure.

Zipped package

Manual deployment, full control

Unpack and run ECM on the OS and runtime of your choice. Best for teams who want full control over the host environment or have specific hardening requirements.

Virtual appliance (OVA)

Import and go on VMware, AWS, or Azure

A pre-configured OVA you can import directly into VMware ESX, Amazon AWS, or Microsoft Azure. The fastest path if you're already running virtualization or cloud infrastructure.

Docker container

Drop into your existing container platform

For teams standardising on containers — run ECM alongside the rest of your stack under whatever orchestration you already use.

Any of the above

Same correlation engine, same console

Whichever format you choose, you get the identical ECM platform — connectors, correlation rules, dashboards, and automation all work the same way.

After you sign up

From signup to a running instance

Most of the time here is yours to control — ECM is ready as soon as you've deployed it.

Sign up for a license

Tell us your deployment platform and rough entity count to get an evaluation license.

Get your license key & download

We email a license key and a download link for your chosen format — zip, OVA, or Docker.

Deploy in your environment

Follow the Installation Guide to bring ECM up on your infrastructure, using the format that fits your stack.

Connect your monitoring tools

Point ECM's connectors at SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or any of the 50+ supported tools and watch correlation begin.

Would rather not manage the infrastructure?

RightITnow can set up and manage a cloud instance for you instead — same platform, same connectors, same console.

The fine print

What counts as a "managed entity"?

A Managed Entity (ME) is a device or instance that generates an event. This is the count your evaluation license is based on.

Servers & VMs

A server, or a single instance of a virtual machine.

Applications

An instance of an event-generating application.

Network devices

A network device such as a router. Up to 100 virtual ports per ME — each additional 100 ports counts as an extra ME.

Network appliances

A network appliance, such as a firewall.

💬

Databases

A database instance.

📱

Clustered environments

Each individual physical server and each application instance in a cluster counts separately.

Questions

Before you sign up

The most common questions about the on-prem evaluation.

Is this a time-limited trial?

It's a 45-day evaluation license. After signing up, you'll receive a license key and download link to deploy ECM and start correlating your alerts.

What deployment formats are available?

Three: a zipped package for manual deployment, an OVA virtual appliance for VMware ESX, Amazon AWS, or Microsoft Azure, and a Docker container. All three run the identical ECM platform.

What are the system requirements?

CPU, memory, storage, and supported platforms are detailed in the Hardware and Software Requirements document, linked above. Check this before choosing a deployment format.

Do I need to involve my whole team to get started?

No. One person can sign up, deploy ECM, and connect a single monitoring tool to see correlation working. Invite the rest of the team once it's running.

Can I switch from on-prem to cloud later?

Yes. Correlation rules and dashboards you build during an on-prem evaluation translate directly to a cloud deployment — nothing to rebuild from scratch.

What if I need help with installation?

The Installation Guide covers step-by-step setup for all three deployment formats, and email support is included with your evaluation license.

Customer outcomes

What teams say after getting started

Real results from organisations that started exactly where you are now.

"We deployed a central event processing console against our existing legacy systems in record time. RightITnow provided a simple, cost-effective licensing model."
— Enterprise IT Operations Team
"Our NOC now only watches ECM, which has improved response times. We've unified our workflow across technology areas, which reduced administrative overhead."
— Global Infrastructure Operations
"Chronic issues that had been long masked became obvious within days, allowing us to dramatically cut down our event volume — before we'd even trained our team."
— IT Operations Director, Financial Services
