RightITnow ECM, your all-in-one incident control center, continues to evolve with a release focused on database resilience, integration flexibility and day-to-day reliability.

Database support and resilience

ECM 6.5 adds support for MySQL 8.4 and includes enhancements for MySQL InnoDB Cluster, helping teams run ECM on current, highly available database platforms. A new maxWaitMillis property is now available for database connections, giving administrators more control over how ECM behaves when waiting for a connection.

A more capable REST API

The ECM REST API gains new capabilities for automation and integration:

  • A new REST API call lets you reopen an alert.
  • Alert responses now include the Last Comment field.
  • The Filter REST API now includes share options and the 'existing filter' field.
  • The REST API call to remove multiple users from a user group has been fixed.

Smoother operations

The console now displays a clear message when ECM has finished its start-up process, including the start-up of its connectors, so you know exactly when the system is ready. Create Event actions have also been enhanced, and user deletion issues affecting Display Profile and Grid tables have been resolved.

New and upgraded connectors

ECM 6.5 adds support for ServiceNow Zurich and Australia, keeping your incident workflows aligned with the latest ServiceNow releases.

At RightITnow, we are dedicated to making IT operations management a breeze and ensuring seamless integration within your enterprise IT environment.
